RE: [RPRWG] Monday Morning Comment Resolution Schedule

Asif,

Unfortunately there seems to be a technical problem with the
IEEE reflector. It is delaying messages, reordering messages,
or throwing away messages entirely. My understanding is that
this problem is being looked at by the IEEE staff, so hopefully
it should be fixed shortly.

Best regards,

- Tom Alexander

Subject: [RPRWG] Monday Morning Comment Resolution Schedule

Colleagues,

As you know, we have a 3 hour slot reserved on Monday morning
for early comment resolution ad hoc meetings. The plan to
utilize this slot is as follows:

8.00 AM - 9.00 AM: Fairness Ad-Hoc meets
9.00 AM - 11.00 AM: Comment resolution begins for two tracks:
Track 1: MAC Section (room to be decided)
Track 2: Fairness Section (room to be decided)

All the other comment resolution sessions will be held as
usual on Tuesday and Wednesday. The MAC and Fairness sections
will continue comment resolution during this time as well.

The purpose of having this early session is to make some
progress on the approximately 345 technical comments against
MAC and Fairness (taken together), so that we can increase
the odds of completing the resolution for all 1010 comments
by Thursday. The editors are directed to utilize this extra
session to address as many of the less controversial topics
as possible, so that we can get them out of the way before
the main sessions begin on Tuesday.

I will post the specific room assignments for the Monday
morning comment resolution ad-hoc meetings outside the rooms
assigned to 802.17 between 8 and 9 AM Monday. I will also be
on hand to answer questions about room assignments during
that time. Room and track assignments for the remainder of
the comment resolution sessions will be decided (and
presented) later Monday afternoon, after I have had a
chance to assess the room availability and the number
of people attending.

Apologies for the late notice.

Best regards,

- Tom Alexander
