Re: [RPRWG] Fairness Ad-Hoc

Title: RE: [RPRWG] Fairness Ad-Hoc

All,

I also simulated the scenario and came to the same conclusions as Stein and his students.
The results can be found here:
http://www.ikn.tuwien.ac.at/~jschuringa/Simulations/jon_SimRes_01.ppt

Please note that the next fairness adhoc meeting where I can attend will be on Wednesday, July 9.

We have run David and Harry’s original scenario. The results can be found at

http://www.ifi.uio.no/~steing/rpr/sim_res.ppt

We also doubled the STQ size,  and found a large increase in the A1 jitter.

A1 jitter and A0 jitter seems to be the same.  The A1 jitter is probably mainly caused by large negative shaper D values, as several people now have pointed out. We will try to implement shaping of STQ traffic tomorrow. Class A0 jitter will then be studied in more detail.
