is an invitation to join a new CE-IT Working Group, Infrastructure and
Wireless. As you may remember, the person driving this effort, Leanne Cordisco
(GE Healthcare), was one of the Healthcare IT presenters during the HCIT
Tutorial at the July Plenary in Denver. I've been asked by Engineering in
Medicine and Biology to disseminate this type of information across IEEE
Committees respectively. They had their first telecon earlier this month
and are actively seeking participation. Please pass on to your working

Re: Your Appointment to the Infrastructure and Wireless Working Group
Thank you for expressing an interest in serving on the Infrastructure and
Wireless Working Group, one of five CE-IT Community working groups formed
recently by AAMI, ACCE, and HIMSS.
This working group will meet by conference call for the first time on Tuesday
October 14th at 2:00 PM ET. Please dial (866) 469-3239. The attendee access code is

We are seeking individuals to serve as chair and vice-chair of this working
group. If you are interested in possibly serving in a leadership position,
please e-mail Steve Campbell at scampbell@xxxxxxxx by October 30.
During our first call, we will discuss what specific projects should be
undertaken by the working group. I’ve attached the Volunteer Participation
Guidelines as well as a proposed agenda for our first meeting.
