[802.19] IEEE 802 Overview and Architecture (O&A)

IEEE 802.19,

 

                As I mentioned in the 802.19 meeting the IEEE 802 Overview and Architecture (O&A) is being revised and all the WGs are being encouraged to participate in the process.  We should review this standard and see how the O&A and the 802.19.1 architecture fit together.

 

                You can obtain a copy of the 802 O&A is available on the Get802 web site.  There is one main document and two amendments.

                There is a group of people who plan to participate in the revision.  Each WG is expected to have at least one member who will participate in the process.  I will participate and am looking for others to join me.

 

                They plan to communicate using the 802.1 Architecture email list.  You can join that list by going to the following web site,

                then click on “Subscribe to the 802 Architecture list” and that will open your email system and allow you to send an email to Listserv requesting that you be added to the list.  There has not been much email traffic yet but going forward there should be more traffic.
