coexistence assurance document for the 802.11ad draft. This process may be new to some of
you since 802.19 has a larger membership. Below are the
instructions. If people feel it would be useful I can schedule a
conference call to discuss the CA document. Please notify me if you would
like to have such a call. If you have any questions fell free to ask. Steve IEEE 802.19 Letter Ballot 11 Ballot on 802.11ad Coexistence
Assurance Document Date: October 2, 2010 Directions The 802.11 working group has initiated
a letter ballot on the 802.11ad/D1.0 draft, and has provided a companion CA
document. The 802.19 WG will vote on the accuracy and completeness of the CA
document. The procedure for voting on the CA document involves several steps.
First each of the members provides comments on the CA document, next the chair
compiles the comments, next the WG votes on whether to include those comments
and finally the chair submits the 802.19 vote on the CA document. The
procedure for voting on CA documents is provided in Section 6.2 of the 802.19
P&P which can be found on the web at http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/19/
. The CA document is attached. The
802.11ad/D1.0 draft can be found on the 802.11 members section of the web. The schedule is listed below. Comments on the CA document are due to
the chair and vice chair by Wednesday October 13. A spreadsheet is provided for entering
