Subject: [802.15-GENERAL-LIST] YVR 802 plenary registration cancellation policy update
Hi all
For those of you who read the EC telecon results you already saw that the EC passed a motion to fully refund the March 802 Plenary registration fee when a registrant indicates by 12 March 2017 that immigration circumstances beyond control may prevent attendance
or subsequent return.
What that means is even if you are a US green card holder, but feel that the situation right now in the US is too unstable and you are concerned you might not be allowed to return to the US, you can ask for a full refund of the registration fee as long as you
do it by March 12. Special circumstances like this have always been allowed but not everyone may realize all they need to do is ask. This makes this particular issue explicit.
Regards
Bob
