[802.19] SA Ballot Invitation for 802.19.3



All,

 

                The SA Ballot Invitation for 802.19.3 has been started.  If you are an IEEE-SA member and have indicated interest in 802.19 projects you should have received an email from the IEEE-SA system yesterday.  However if you did not receive the email and are interested in joining the SA Ballot Pool, I have included the email below.  If you have any questions you can reach out to me and Jonathan Goldberg (goldberg.j@xxxxxxxx)

Title: Recommended Practice for Local and Metropolitan Area Networks - Part 19: Coexistence Methods for 802.11 and 802.15.4 based systems operating in the Sub-1 GHz Frequency Bands
Scope: This recommended practice provides guidance on the implementation, configuration and commissioning of systems sharing spectrum between IEEE Std 802.11ah-2016 and IEEE Std 802.15.4 Smart Utility Networking (SUN) Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) Physical Layer (PHY) operating in Sub-1 GHz frequency bands.

The Project Authorization Request Form contains additional information about this project.
