[802.19] New Section in the Chairs Guidelines

James,

 

                At the 802.19 WG Closing today, the WG discussed the text from the 802 Rules Committee (doc. EC-20/220r2), on the New Section in the Chairs Guidelines.

 

                The WG unanimously approved recommending to the Executive Committee the following change to the text:

 

Change,

“2. should include a list of the active IEEE 802 projects expected to operate in the same frequency bands as the new standard under development.”

 

To

“2. should include a list of the active IEEE 802 projects operating in the same frequency bands as the new standard under development.”

 

 

This avoids the issue of identifying whose expectation it is in the original version.  It also makes item 2 match items 1 and 3 in terminology.

 

Also, as a reminder please include the title of the section, which should be “Scope of the Coexistence Assessment Document.”
