Dear 802.18 members,
cc. 802.15, 802.11, and 802.19 members,

Following the consultation in February 2022 that seeked comments on the technical and policy framework for the frequency bands above 95 GHz , Canada ISED has published its decision on 20 December 2022.  See:
https://ised-isde.canada.ca/site/spectrum-management-telecommunications/en/learn-more/key-documents/decision-technical-and-policy-framework-frequency-bands-above-95-ghz#t1

Of possible interests are:
1)  ISED will allow both indoor and outdoor licence-exempt use in the 116-122.25 GHz, 122.25-123 GHz, 174.8-182 GHz, 185-190 GHz band and 244-246 GHz bands on a no-protection, no-interference basis.
2)  ISED will update the table of frequency allocations by adding the following footnote:
Licence-exempt devices in the 116-122.25 GHz, 122.25-123 GHz, 174.8-182 GHz, 185-190 GHz and 244-246 GHz bands must operate in accordance with the established spectrum policy and technical framework; and must not cause harmful interference to, or claim protection from, primary and secondary services in the band.
