On 9 April 2024, Brazil's national telecommunications authority, ANATEL, recently began a public consultation "Collection of inputs about the role of connectivity in the development of AI" that seeks public's opinion on the following topics:

Standardization and regulatory action
Uses and impacts of using AI in communication networks
Business models and competition
Social and environmental aspects
Data Protection
Construction of a public observatory of initiatives that demonstrate the integration between the universes of connectivity and Artificial Intelligence

The submission deadline to this consultation is 9 June 2024.
