On 23 October 2024, Saudi Arabia CST began a consultation "Light Licensing Regulations Annex for the 6 GHz Frequency Band" that seeks public opinions on its proposal in using AFC for 6 GHz WLAN of higher transmit power, and the required technical conditions.
