Results from Today’s meeting
1) Need to place a definition of AI in appendix A.
a. There was some discussion on the scope of the term AI within the document, in some cases it refers to MAC and PHY while in other cases it refers to the whole standard.
b. Gan Wu to propose a definition on the reflector and the rest of the group to comment
2) Need to place the most recent date in the header. (John Humbert to fix)
3) Need to verify that the text in section 3.1.1 (System Architecture) matches the text that was agreed upon in Singapore
4) There was some more discussion on what was agreed to in Singapore on section 4.1.1 (Support for different block assignments)
a. The current text requires that the standard support block assignments of at least 1.25 MHz. There was discussion around whether or not a proposal complied with the requirements document if it only supported channel bandwidths greater than 1.25 MHz.
b. Expect to see more discussion on this topic in the CG
5) A topic of discussion dealt with the requirement for the support of repeaters (section 4.1.13).
6) Schedule
a. The goal is to have a draft version of the requirements document completed by the November Plenary meeting. To do this requires that the group come to consensus on the following sections by October 31st.
