Berlin interim - 1 day left to register before registration fee goes up
Folks,
July 30 is Friday. Last day for the $700 registration fee. Fee is $900 on July
31 so register now and save big bucks!!
Unfortunately, as of now the room block at the Estrel is full. We did manage to
get some additional rooms but not enough for current registration numbers. We
are working to get more rooms but may not hear anything until later in August.
We are adding a check box on the registration page if you wish to be placed on a
waiting list in case more rooms become available at the Estrel.
Meanwhile there is plenty of space at the Hilton. The Hilton is about 25 minutes
away by public transport (trains). Tour Hosts is looking into providing buses
to facilitate getting between the Estrel and the Hilton in the morning and
evenings. In case you are wondering why the overflow hotel is not closer, it is
because the Estrel is situated pretty much by itself in the southeast corner of
Berlin. It is the only facility in Berlin with enough meeting room space. Tour
Hosts is doing everything possible to make things as convenient and efficient as
possible. Meetings in non USA locations are always more of a challenge. We
appreciate your patience and understanding.
Update on the social. It will be a dinner cruise and some interesting boats
that are capable of navigating the river and canal system in and around Berlin.
You can see an amazing amount of the city from the water. You just have to
duck periodically as there are several very low bridges the boats pass under.
Bring your cameras and be prepared to have some fun.
