RE: [802.21] Reminder: Call for Contributions on Project 802.21
I intend to propose text on the Event/Trigger model and Information
service. Of course subject my my usual time limitations which may get in
the way.
These will both be partial contributions, to the extent that I doubt it
will cover the final extent of the spec, although I intend the content
to be internally complete.
The content will surprise no one. It would be a fleshed out version of
what I have already outlined in previous submissions, albeit with some
variations to fit in line with the requirements as they are currently
defined.
I'm going to regret committing to this :)

This is a Call for Contributions on Project 802.21 for Media Independent
Handover Services draft standard. The contributions are requested on the
following work items:
- Event/Trigger Service Model
- MIH Model
- Information Service
based on the requirements as described in the document number
21-04-0087-12-0000-requirements_document.doc
Some related guidelines for the contributions are listed in document
number 21-04-0151-02-0000-Call_for_Proposals.ppt
This call for contributions requests input relevant to the above
mentioned draft.
Contribution should state clearly whether it is a complete proposal on
all work items or a partial contribution towards a specific work item
from the above list.
Contributions will be posted for public access on the IEEE 802.21 Web
Site <http://www.ieee802.org/21> after the deadline. Contribution
document naming format will follow the standard IEEE 802.21 naming
convention. Contributions received after the deadline would not be
considered for further rounds of harmonization and down-selection.
Deadline for intent to submit a proposal is October 10, 2004.
