RE: Conference Call Reminder: ad hoc group on evaluation - December 7, 2004 10am-12 noon EST

Hello,

As we shortly discussed last week the Usage Model/Scenarios item proposed by
Nada, I'd propose to revisit it once more.

We should look at the PAR http://www.ieee802.org/21/802_21_PAR.doc and check
the items 3 and 18, and look at the standards style manual
http://standards.ieee.org/guides/style/index.html

We should discuss about the meaning of the document being of type 'standard'
(not 'recommended practice' nor 'guide' nor 'trial-use') and what is needed
in order to ensure good quality on the outcome of the group. Without ANY
simulations or trials our chances to produce a good standard to be used by
IEEE 802 and cellular systems are quite limited.
