[Fwd: WGLC for draft-ietf-dna-link-information-02.txt]

Dear Chairs and 802.21 list,

Please be aware that a working group "last call" has begun for
the IETF DNA working document:

"Link-layer Event Notifications for Detecting Network Attachments"

This document is aimed at providing a catalogue of local
link-layer hints to change detection systems at the network
layer.

It isn't supposed to document 802.21 related efforts, but
identifies criteria for "Link-Up" and "Link-Down"
indications as used by DNA with existing protocols.
These definitions were recently discussed on the 802.21 list.

Of particular note is that this document does not describe
event/hint transport as is slated for 802.21 MIES.

Greg Daley
(DNA Co-Chair).

to be sent to the IESG for consideration as an INFORMATIONAL RFC.
