Thanks David: Are you saying than that the single radio
PAR is not an amendment? By the virtue of labeling Single Radio as an
amendment, the new proposed 802.21 PAR we are writing now satisfies the line
you are quoting below. This proposed PAR is indeed addressing the req for an
independent project that includes Single Radio as amendment and corrigenda. In fact, this is what is being done now in
the on-going 802.16m latter ballot circulations. In the 802.16m amendment we
are adding another radio interface as amendment to 802.16e-2007 and in addition
also submitting corrigenda contributions into the entire document and not just
chapter 15 (=802.16m section). Peretz Feder From: Cypher, David E.
[mailto:david.cypher@xxxxxxxx] Peretz Feder, Your three comments on the PAR for 802.21 Single Radio
clauses 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5 (relating to corrigenda) should not be accepted,
since they violate the rules contained in the IEEE-SA Standards Board
Operations Manual, " 8.1.2 Amendments and corrigenda
Amendments
and corrigenda
are independent projects and are processed with separate PARs and balloted
independently in accordance with the requirements of these procedures,
including submission to the IEEE-SA Standards Board. " I offer this information to the 802.21
Working group to be used in formulating a response to these
three specific comments relating to corrigenda against the
802.21 PAR for single radio. David Cypher From: Hello Vivek and Subir: Per your request, attached are my proposed
comments (in red). Peretz Feder |
