EEE consensus call meeting minutes,  June 8, 2012

The meeting started at approximately 7:15 AM PDT as the presenter was having technical difficulty. 

Hugh Barrass presented "EEE across CAUI" (eee_caui_r1.pdf attached)

There were two goals conference call this morning:

1. Build consensus around proposed ways to fill in the open items in the baseline.

2.  Solicit help to solve how to specify a way for the receiver to distinguish between QUIET/ALERT/DATA.

There were discussions about CAUI shutdown and the issues/difficulties associated with receive-mode signaling across CAUI.

Hugh requested folks think about a way to specify inference of the receive mode based on the incoming signal (see slides 12-16)

Mike will schedule another meeting in a couple of weeks.

The meeting ended at approximately 8:15 AM PDT.
