Dear Task Force Participants, This email is to inform you that the preliminary comment report summarizing comments received against D1.0 have been posted. By Clause - http://www.ieee802.org/3/bj/comments/P8023bj-D1p0-Comments_Received_byCls.pdf. By ID - http://www.ieee802.org/3/bj/comments/P8023bj-D1p0-Comments_Received_byID.pdf I am asking all individuals who submitted comments to review the above reports to confirm that their comments have been included. Please contact Adam Healey or myself if there are any issues. Briefly summarizing the comments received – · 296 comments were submitted by 19 individuals. A number of issues have been identified, which will need to be addressed. My thanks to all those who took the time to perform an in-depth review of D1.0. However, given the initial state of the draft and the need to make progress to hit the TF adopted schedule of requesting Working Group ballot in November, the participation level is disappointing. As noted in the call for presentations for the July meeting – The agenda for the meeting will be resolution of comments received against D1.0 and work towards a technically complete draft for working group ballot. Presentations for the interim and plenary meeting should focus on comments submitted against D1.0. (Please note if you are intending to give a presentation in support of a suggested remedy (or provide any supplemental material) for any comments, please indicate this in the “Suggested Remedy” field in your comment submission). “ Also, please note that requests for presentation time shall be made to me at jdambrosia@xxxxxxxx and must be made by July 6, 2012. Regards, John D’Ambrosia Chair, IEEE P802.3bj 100 Gb/s Backplane and Copper Cable Task Force |
