The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on IEEE P802.3bj 100 Gb/s Backplane and Copper Cables closed successfully on April 30. The results of the ballot are included below.
A total of 251 comments were received during the ballot. An additional late comment was received after the close of the ballot. Reports of the comments received, one sorted by Clause and the other by comment ID, may be found at the following link.

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bj 100 Gb/s Backplane and Copper Cables closed successfully on 30th April 2013. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The May 2013 IEEE P802.3bj Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 251 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bj Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:

82 Approve
19 Disapprove
32 Abstain
133 Ballots returned
54.29% Response Rate (>= 50% required)
24.06% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
81.19% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
