[802.3_100GCU] what is the relation between 802.3bj and bm?

Dear all:

I understand that 802.3bj works on back plane and copper cable, while 802.3 bm works on fiber.

For an routing ASIC chip in a large switch, some of its ports need to drive the back plane, while some other ports need to drive optical fiber, then should I implement different FEC and PCS for them?
