[802.3_100GCU] :: why 802.3bj have not consider the scenario with dropped lane(s)

Dear all:

After reading all meeting ppts, I find that 802.3bj have not consider the scenario with 1 or more lanes fail to work.

Such a scenario may occur when there are some improper connected connector that connects only 3 of the 4 lanes. In a large network, such scenario may occur more often.

So why 802.3 do not consider such case?
