Slide 11 says use “config_com_ieee8023_93a=100GEL-KR_DFE_121918.xls” in mellitz_3ck_adhoc_01_121918_COM2p57.zip. N_b was 16 in that sheet. I would suggest either us the 22-24 as suggested in a few presentations in this plenary or use a TBD. You have shown 16 is not enough. To aid your review, I summarize the changes below: Section Slide Proposed Value Background Transmitter 7 SNDR=32.5 dB from Clause 137 Receiver 9 IL for test 1 = 13.5 to 14.5dB @ Nyquist ITT test, based on 28dB loss objective IL for test 2 = 27.5 to 28.5dB @ Nyquist Tx/Rx ERL 10 Tr=0.0137 ns, N=200, min spec = 12 dB per Mike Li’s proposal Channel ERL 12 Tr=0.0137 ns, rho_x=0.25, min spec = 10 dB per Mike Li’s proposal Channel IL 13 Added figure & equation for insertion loss Scaled to achieve 28dB @ Nyquist & extended to 2*Nyquist COM 15 Added package parameters consistent with slide 14 16-17 Added transmit equalization parameters consistent with slide 8 I also corrected the typographical errors on the reference package model slide (slide 14) from heck_3ck_02_0319.pdf.
