[802.3_100GEL] [802.3ck] D1.0 proposed responses are now posted

Dear Colleagues,

 

The proposed responses to P802.3ck D1.0 comments are now posted to the Task Force website at http://www.ieee802.org/3/ck/comments/index.html  Many thanks to the editorial team and advisors for their hard work!!!

 

We will be reviewing and resolving these comments at our meeting in Geneva.  There will not be time to craft responses on the floor.  Please note that the Task Force leadership will be deferring comments to the end of the meeting that have certain criteria, such as:

– The comment is poorly written, no/bad justification, no/unclear remedy, etc.

– The comment may be relevant but is far from mature, requires future detailed proposal, etc.

– The comment may be relevant, is not critical to close, but may require a lot of consensus building to gain closure.

 

Additionally, I encourage participants to review the proposed responses for the “bucket worthy” comments and notify the Task Force leadership of any comments that should be addressed on the Task Force floor.  The proposed responses to the unresolved bucket comments will be adopted in a motion during closing business.
