Hello Colleagues – Hilton has done a bulk cancellation of reservations made through the IEEE link. If you were a part of this bulk cancellation, you should have already received your cancellation. Mine came in at 1:46pm PST with the subject “Hilton Atlanta Reservation Cancellation”. The email from them includes the text from
the Cancellation notice, and say something like: “This is a record of your hotel reservation cancellation for the March 2020 IEEE 802 Plenary Session cancelled on Mar 6, 2020. Your Cancellation Number is XXXXXX-YYYYY.
Please retain this number as evidence of cancellation” Many participants, including myself, have received “upcoming stays” and still show their reservations active with Hilton. Hilton states this is simply a delay in processing the paperwork. Please be patient. If you have not received a cancellation notice, you have the green light to progress forward with your own cancellation.
