Subject: Reminder of Draft 1.2 Review & Supporting Presentations

Hello All –

I’ll be brief.  2 things:

  1. Review for Draft 1.2 closes this week – Saturday June 13 AoE  (see below for details)
  2. I’m setting a deadline for supporting presentations for next Wednesday June 17th, AoE.  Please note that these are only given 10 minute time slots (including Q&A).  These Supporting Presentations are for if your comment needs additional information for the editor’s and task force’s consideration.  Updates and consensus presentations will be accepted after this date (more to come on that later).

Wishing you Joy,

~Beth

Subject: Announcing Draft 1.2 and Task Force Review

Hello Everyone!

I hope this email finds you safe and cheerful.  Thank you everyone for your flexibility as we all learned to do comment resolution a new way together.  Kent and I both consider Draft 1.1 a GREAT success!

By a mighty effort from the editorial team, Draft 1.2 is ready and posted!!  A huge thank you to all involved…

As we spoke at the Telephonic Interim last week, there will be a 30 day review cycle for this round which opens today.  Although the compare version is posted, please submit your comments against the clean version of the draft (most important for page and line numbers).

Keep in mind that we will do comment resolution again via telephonic interim… so be sure to prep short presentations with justification of your comments, where necessary.  Also, note that we have 4 Ad hocs scheduled (5/20, 5/27, 6/10, 6/17) which would be a great time to have a discussion on large topics in this draft.

This Task Force Review closes Saturday, June 13th.  Instructions are below on how to access the draft and submit comments.

Cheers!

~Beth

HOW TO SUBMIT COMMENTS:

Acceptable comment types:

a.) Input your comments to the comment spreadsheet at the URL:

http://www.ieee802.org/3/WG_tools/spreadsheet/802d3_TFR_WGB_comments.xls

***  Please use this method, if possible.  It greatly reduces the workload on the editorial team.  Thank you!  ***

b.) If you are not able to use the spreadsheet, access the comment tool at the URL (last updated September 2015):
