Hello! Welcome to August.

I hope that OIF is going well for those involved. This email serves as your reminder that there is NO 802.3ck meeting this week.

With that said, below is my proposed agenda for next week’s meeting. Please take note that the deadline for requesting bucket pulls is this Sunday 8/9 AoE. I will work on the configuring the website for next week later this week.

Subject: [802.3_100GEL] Announcing an Extension to our Draft 1.2 Comment Resolution Series

Hello All –

After this week, we have 137 open comments remaining… That includes the 45 comments in the two buckets I just posted… Which means, in the best-case scenario, we still have 92 comments to address on draft 1.2 as well as discussing the timeline and final business.

Kent, Matt, and I decided that we’d like to announce one additional meeting onto this series (Wednesday, August 12^th, 7-10am PDT). This will allow for both meetings next week to focus on comment resolution as well as another round of buckets before our final meeting.

July 28/29^th – Address 2 announced buckets & mainly C2M comments

August 12^th, 7-10am PDT – Likely address 2 final buckets, project timeline, handful of comments (assorted topics), and closing business

Subject: Announcing the Telephonic Interim Series for Draft 1.2 Comment Resolution

Hello All –

The P802.3ck Task Force will be meeting via 8 telephonic interims to resolve comments to draft 1.2 throughout June 30^th-July 29^th. The series of calls will act as a single meeting: sharing webpage, minutes, agenda, etc. The focus of these meetings will be to resolve comments made against our Draft 1.2.

Presentations providing a suggested remedy to a comment, or details of such, are due Wednesday June 17^th, with no presentation request required. Updates to said presentations and consensus presentations will have a different deadline, yet to be announced. Any presentations made during the telephonic interims will be held to a 10 minute timeslot (including Q&A).

Please note that there is no registration requirement for this series, however attendance will be recorded and voting on motions will be by 802.3 voters only. A calendar invite will be sent via the reflector momentarily, otherwise contact Beth if you need it sent directly to you.

The series is as follows:

Tuesday, June 30^th – 7-10am PDT

Monday, July 6^th – 7-10am PDT

Wednesday, July 8^th – 7*-10am PDT

Wednesday, July 15^th – 7*-10am PDT

Tuesday, July 21^st – 7-10am PDT

*The Webex event space will open 30 minutes early on the Wednesday interims, to allow for offline consensus building, however the meeting and resolving comments will not begin until 7am PDT
