Jonathan, Thank you for organizing and leading the MMF ad hocs. All, It should be noted that in our meeting in San Antonio, there was some resistance to placement of numbers into our CAUI-4 tables that had been discussed within the CAUI-4 ad hoc. I believe this may have been due to a lack of familiarity with numbers that had been discussed in the ad hoc meetings by some who did not attend the ad hoc meetings. I would like to urge participants in this Task Force who are interested in this subject to attend the MMF ad hoc, and to review the presentations presented within the ad hoc. This way, when we consider a future MMF baseline proposal, interested parties will be familiar with the numbers and have had an opportunity to review them in detail. This will help us make progress in what is going to become an increasingly challenging schedule. We are depending on the ad hocs to focus on specific aspects of our future draft and work out any issues so that when we meet in the larger Task Force, we are potentially in a position to advance an MMF baseline. Please attend the ad hocs, contribute, and use this opportunity to its fullest extent. Best Regards, Dan Dove Chair, P802.3bm On 11/19/12 6:10 PM, Jonathan King
