Eric,
Yes, I have considered the impact of precoding on the complexity of the
analog front end of the receiver. The important point to note is that the
coefficients of the precoder are determined by the receiver and therefore,
the receiver has full control over the tradeoff between the dynamic range of
the analog front end and the amount of pre-equalization done in the
transmitter.
