Dear IEEE P802.3an Task Force Members:
This is the announcement of the electronic IEEE P802.3an Task Force comment period on P802.3an (10GBASE-T). If a Task Force member plans to make a presentation for adoption into the next draft, then it is highly recommended that the Task Force member submit a comment with a reference to their presentation as part of the suggested remedy. As the Task Force resolves comments related to presentations, the Task Force at any point in time may take motions to adopt presentations into the draft.

HOW TO ACCESS THE DRAFT
The document is posted for your review for comment purposes only, and neither the document nor access information should be copied or redistributed to others in violation of IEEE-SA document copyrights. The draft package (compressed file including the draft and the generator matrix in text and PDF), the draft or the generator matrix may be downloaded from:

Userid and password have been previously distributed to those attending 802.3 and 802.3an meetings.
The document is posted in Adobe "pdf" document format and can be downloaded and printed if desired. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is available for free downloading from Adobe at:

If you have comments, you can access the comment generation tool at the following URL:

This is a Windows-based run-time database application. Save the compressed zip file to a directory where you wish to uncompress the file. Once you uncompress the file, do not move the directory or any files in the directory as this may prevent the executable program from running properly. Double-click on the executable file (EXE) to run the database application. If this is the first time you have used this comment generation tool, please read the instructions.
NOTE: Use of this tool is greatly preferred, as the output it generates is easy to import into our comment resolution database.
If you are unable to use the tool, please format your comments and submit them as described below.
Acceptable comment types:
E = Editorial
T = Technical
TR = Technical Required (a Technical comment that the commenter feels very strongly about)
To submit comments in text (ASCII) form, please use the form below. This will make it easier for the editor to properly record and track all submissions. Make as many copies of the template as necessary and submit as an ASCII text file or as part of your e-mail.
