All: I apologize for not getting a contribution into this meeting regarding the SOA/PIN OLT receiver for 1G/10G coexistence.

Please do not interpret this as decrease in our support for this concept. In fact, when one looks at OLT receivers in the light of 1G/10G coexistence, the SOA/PIN OLT receiver offers significant advantages over traditional approaches.

I have attached a document that updates the SOA/PIN situation. Although this material will not be presented we may want to refer to it in discussions,

In this document we update some items, consider other, simpler SOA/PIN architectures, and answer questions from the exploder.
