JULY 2009 IEEE-802 PLENARY SESSION

4th MEETING INFORMATION UPDATE

To All IEEE 802 Members & Attendees:

The July 2009 IEEE-802 LMSC Plenary Session will be held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco (at Embarcadero Center) in San Francisco, CA during the week of July 12-17, 2009. All working groups will be meeting at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco along with all tutorials and calls for interest.

The registration fee for this session is:

* $400US before 6pm Pacific Time (PDT), Friday, June 26, 2009 (UTC Time: 1am Saturday, June 27, 09)

* $500US after 6pm PDT on Friday June 26, 2009 (UTC Time: 1am Saturday, June 27, 2009).

If you are not able to register via the web for technical reasons, you must notify the Conference Organizers by email or phone prior to the cutoff time to protect your right to receive the discount pre-registration rate.

Transportation Services:

* To get back and forth to the meeting (at HR-SF) you can take the historic F-Line streetcar along the Embarcadero (~5 minutes), or take the scenic Cable Car from Ghiradelli Square to the Top of Nob Hill and then back down the California Street line past Chinatown to the end at HR-SF on the Embarcadero. And it is only a 15-20 minute walk along the waterfront to the HR-SF should you choose to see the sights and get some fresh air and exercise instead. There are of course taxis and buses as well for other options.
