[10GMMF] Modelling ad hoc - task 1 telecon

Dear Colleagues,

It would be good to hold a task 1 telecon after the Portland meeting to make sure we understand what we are trying to achieve and to make sure we are on track to getting an agreement on static fiber models to use by the September interim.

I'd like to hold this call on Wednesday of next week at 5pm UK, noon East Coast, 9am West Coast.  Please let me know if this is inconvenient.  However, I have checked and this appears to be the optimum date/time for the main modelling groups so changes will only be made for very good reasons.

Suggestions for agenda items for the meeting would be much appreciated.  I would guess we would at least cover
 

• review of motions and actions from Portland for task 1
• tasks to achieve actions for FDDI fiber 
• restricted fiber set ("81 fiber model)
• Monte Carlo model
• validation methodology
