Thanks John
I'll compile references in in a final version of the 'summary of progress'
slide set tonight;
there is a placeholder for that in the rev1 version (which includes
suggestions from today's conference call) which was sent out to the
reflector for comment about ten minutes ago !
best wishes Jonathan

Jonathan,
Thanks for compiling this table. Can you provide references to the any work
showing the equivalence of the offset launch and the corresponding proposed
encircled flux specifications, and of the centered launch and corresponding
encircled flix specifications, in both cases for OM1, OM2, and OM3? Thanks.

Jonathan,
With 3 separate tables, as in the current materials, the universal launch
can be presented in a much simpler way now that it is not commingled with
the other launches. Given that it is universal, one need not call out fiber
types or bandwidth, so the table simply collapses into one column with a
title cell above a spec cell.

With attachment !
As discussed by the group today I've revised the single table into 3
options as proposed by David Cunningham and agreed by those on the call
includes 6um radius spec for OM1 as proposed by Joerg, and an attempt at
an advisory sentence in note 2 as proposed by Lew
feedback very welcome, ASAP
thanks for the input from all into today's call
best wishes
Jonathan
