These rooms are held from Sunday September 26th through to Friday October 1st
inclusive, however, the above rates will apply from Sunday September 19th
through Friday October 8th subject to availability. Please make your room
reservations directly with the hotel by phone. Be sure to identify yourself as a

to obtain this special group rate. For this meeting we have arranged a
room-block of 80 rooms which will be reserved for IEEE Interim Meeting attendees
until the reservation cutoff date:

    Hotel Reservation Deadline (Room-block Cutoff) is Friday, August 13, 1999.

Please note: Reservation requests received after this date will be accepted on a
space available basis and will still honor the IEEE Interim Meeting conference
rates. You will need to confirm your accommodation either with a major credit
card or by fax.

Hotel Information

The hotel is situated next to the York Railway Station and consists of 158
ensuite bedrooms and a leisure center which includes a Gym, Sauna, Steam Room
and Solarium. The hotel is set in 3 acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the
York Minster and is the only city center hotel in York with the English Tourist
Board's 5 Crowns Highly Commended Award.
