Rick has been working on a proposal to extend 64/66 to handle Ordered
sets. In order to maintain 4-bit protection for the packet delimiters,
he has
found that he needs to map the control octets to 6-bit entities. He will
be
posting an update with all the gory details soon.

Have you changed the 64B/66B proposal? If so, can you send the details

The control codes (z) are mapped into 7-bit line-codes (see page 6.) Is
the above description of a 6-bit pattern a typo or are there some major
changes to the proposal in the works?
