RE: 1310 nm vs. 1550 nm for 40 km links

  I agree that 1550 is the way to go for >40kms.  I was initially scared off
by your presentation that requires -20dBm sensitivity for the receiver.
Having looked into it more, I think that you can fix that.  -15dBm should be
doable.  At that point, I totally buy into 1550 for 40kms.
