It depends on whom you're referring to as "we" and "our." :-)

As for P802.3ae's objectives, I believe that those objectives are okay.  The
point I'm trying to make is that we don't have to standardize every
permutation we can devise.   I believe that the Task Force has to look at
this and realize we have to generate a standard that is simple to implement
and to market.  I truly believe that we are failing this when it comes to
the number of PMDs.
