Here is a document on the optimal choice of parameters for the 40 km (and 10 km) serial PMDs. This is intended as a reference containing details for my presentation next week. The idea is mainly to find optimal choices on how to specify a transmitter and its implication on DFB-EA and direct modulated lasers. This is a working document and all feedback is welcome!
