Hello Sir,
As defined in clause 46.2.6 (MAC delay constraints (with XGMII)) - a 10 Gigabit Ethernet MAC with a XGMII shall comply with the delay constraints in Table 46-5.
<<...>>
Could you clarify on the following:
1. In case of transmission, is the delay between MAC-client request (to MAC) for frame transmission and the Start Control Character (SOP) transmitted by MAC (RS) on XGMII interface is 256 bits of transmit duration at Tx_CLK edge?
2. In case of frame reception, is the delay between SOP received from XGMII and the first frame data given to the MAC-client is 256 bits of receive duration at RX_CLK edge?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Manish
