	Okay, but what does this translate to in terms of interoperability?
I see four possibilities:

	1.)  WIS will always route well over SONET, but SONET can not be
routed over XGBASE(name?) networks.

	2.)  WIS and SONET can run on each others' networks, but distances
must be kept relatively short and number of hops relatively low to meet
jitter/clocking specs.

	3.)  SONET will always route well over XGBASE(name?) networks, but
WIS can not be routed over SONET networks.

	4.)  WIS and SONET must stay on their own networks.

	Which would it be?
