RE: [802.3ae] HOW DO I JOIN the forum?

To those of you who think that reflector this is an ongoing forum:

The purpose of this reflector was/is to support the work of the P802.3ae
Task Force. The output of that Task Force is the proposed 802.3ae Standard.
that proposed Standard is a candidate for approval at the IEEE Standards
Board meeting next week in Piscataway, NJ.

When/if P802.3ae is approved next week (highly likely) the 802.3ae Task
Force will have completed its work and will officially be disbanded. That
means that the reflector will be deactivated also. In some cases in the
past reflectors have not been deactivated right away. That was sort of OK
when no one noticed. Now the primary feature of the hssg reflector seems to
be the relay of spam. Therefore the deactivation will be prompt.
