FYI – I misspoke slightly. Nescom will meet to make a recommendation on approving our PAR. The standards board will meet the following day to approve. Thank you to David Law, for always being diligent on the process. George A. Zimmerman, Ph.D. President & Principal Consultant CME Consulting, Inc. I am happy to report that yesterday our Objectives (with a slight modification of wording to make it clear we were not discussing making several PHYs for 15m) and our CSDs and PAR were approved by the 802.3 working group. Just now, we passed the next step, and the CSDs and PAR were approved on the consent agenda of the 802 EC. Next stop, Nescom (Dec 7) for approval of the PAR, and then we will be a task force! Again, thank you all for a very successful meeting. George A. Zimmerman, Ph.D. Chair, IEEE 802.3 10 Mbps Single Twisted Pair Ethernet Study Group President & Principal Consultant CME Consulting, Inc.
