[802.3_1PPODL] York Interim - Call for Presentations
All -
The first 1-Pair Power over Data Lines Study Group meeting will be held at the IEEE 802.3 interim meeting in York, England, on Monday, September 2nd and Tuesday, September 3rd. Note that Monday is Labor Day in the US but a normal working day in most of the rest of the world, including the UK where we'll be.
Call for Presentations:
I invite presentations from any and all attendees in York that address the PAR, 5C, or objectives and/or provide background information that will help us to reach consensus. Deadline to request presentation time is two Fridays before the meeting - that's this Friday, August 23rd. Send requests for presentation time to me directly at ddwelley@xxxxxxxxxx. Please e-mail a final PDF (not PPT) version of the presentation to me by the Friday before the meeting (for the York Interim, presentations must be submitted by August 30). I will post the files over the weekend so that they can be reviewed before the meeting.
As a reminder, please make sure that all requests for presentations or submissions of presentation material have no restrictive notices at the bottom of the email. All such emails will be refused and requests/presentations will not be acknowledged.
All individuals submitting presentations should review the Procedures for Presenters Page: http://www.ieee802.org/3/1PPODL/public/presentproc.html . In particular, please review your presentation to verify that it meets the Presentation Style Guidelines described there. Also, to support the web site search tool used by the IEEE 802.3 web site, the 'Document Information' fields of the PDF file must be completed as follows:
Title: Title of presentation
Author: Name(s) of author(s)
Subject: 1-Pair Power over Data Lines (PoDL) Study Group
I look forward to seeing all of you in York in September.
Dave Dwelley
