[802.3_200GMMF] VCSEL heritage

I was surprised to learn that a number of participants are not aware of foundational VCSEL work.

The seminal text is the first edition of "Diode Lasers and Photonic Integrated Circuits" by Larry Coldren and Scott Corzine published in 1995. The book has been widely accepted and adopted as a textbook and a key reference book for engineers dealing with semiconductor lasers and photonic integrated circuits worldwide. The first edition of the book has been translated into Chinese. The second edition of "Diode Lasers and Photonic Integrated Circuits" by Larry Coldren, Scott Corzine, and Milan Mašanović was published in March of 2012. This new edition was expanded and improved with new material.
