[802.3_200GMMF] Announcement: IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force January 2026 Interim Meeting, 21 January. Registration Fee Required



Dear IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force (previously 200GMMF SG) Participants,

IEEE SA Standards Board approved the IEEE P802.3ds amendment PAR earlier this month and the IEEE P802.3ds Task Force has been formed. Congratulations! and Thanks! to all the 200GMMF Study Group participants and contributors for successfully completing the SG phase. I hope that we will continue with the excellent contributions, strong participation, productive consensus building, mutual respect and cooperation of our SG phase as we progress our P802.3ds TF in the new year.

The Agenda: follow-up/updates to contributions to the previous SG ad hoc and interim meetings and new TF contributions in support of the Objectives, and preview of and progress towards the baseline.

Presentations supporting the above Agenda are highly recommended.For the January interim P802.3ds TF meeting, requests for presentation time shall be made by  Friday, 09 January 2026. The contributor shall provide the following information:
The presenter shall email a PDF, soft-copy version of the presentation to me at mabudchoudhury@xxxxxxxxx and Cc Guangcan Mi at miguangcan@xxxxxxxxxx by Wednesday, 14 January 2026. Please make sure that page numbers are included in your presentation.

As a reminder, please make sure that all requests for presentations or submissions of presentation material have no restrictive notices at the bottom of the email. All such emails will be refused, and requests/presentations will not be acknowledged.  

It will be greatly appreciated if presenters review their presentations to verify that they have followed the cited Presentation Style Guidelines.

To support the web site search tool used by the IEEE P802.3 website, the 'Document Information' fields of the PDF file must be completed as follows:       
  • Title: Title of presentation       
  • Author: Name(s) of author(s) & affiliation(s)      
  • Subject:  IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force
Presentations that do not have the fields properly filled out will not be accepted.
