[802.3_200GMMF] Announcement: IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force March 2026 Plenary Meeting, 11 March. Registration Fee Required

Dear IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force Participants,

Overview:

• The IEEE P802.3ds Task Force will meet face-to-face all day, time slots AM1/AM2/PM1/PM2 (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT, UTC -7), on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 during the IEEE 802 March 2026 Plenary session (9-12 March) in Vancouver, BC, Canada, with remote access (provided on a best effort basis).  Details regarding the IEEE 802 Plenary meeting and registration may be found at https://web.cvent.com/event/311541a9-0149-4cad-a562-138debb27a29/summary . Please note that registration and payment of the registration fee are required for all individuals who participate (in-person or virtual participation) for this P802.3ds TF meeting and for all meetings during the IEEE 802 March 2026 Plenary session. The meeting invite will follow this email.
• The agenda: review presentations and build consensus related to meeting the TF Objectives, making progress towards a baseline, and developing TF needs/requirements for new MMF that can be liaised to IEC/fiber standards.   
• Requests for presentation time shall be made by Friday, 27 February 2026. Please send the presentation request to me at mabudchoudhury@xxxxxxxx and Cc Guangcan Mi at miguangcan@xxxxxxxxxx, per the presentation procedures https://ieee802.org/3/ds/public/presentproc.html (but following the deadline above)
• The presenter shall email a PDF, soft-copy version of the presentation to me at  mabudchoudhury@xxxxxxxx and Cc Guangcan Mi at miguangcan@xxxxxxxxxx by Thursday, 5 March 2026. Please review the Procedure for Presenters web page:  https://ieee802.org/3/ds/public/presentproc.html

The contributor shall provide the following information:

• Name of contributor
• Title of contribution
• Length of time requested (this should include time for questions and answers)
• Brief description of the topic

As a reminder, please make sure that all requests for presentations or submissions of presentation material have no restrictive notices at the bottom of the email. All such emails will be refused, and requests/presentations will not be acknowledged.  

It will be greatly appreciated if presenters review their presentations to verify that they have followed the cited Presentation Style Guidelines.

To support the web site search tool used by the IEEE P802.3 website, the 'Document Information' fields of the PDF file must be completed as follows:       

• Title: Title of presentation       
• Author: Name(s) of author(s) & affiliation(s)      
• Subject:  IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force

Presentations that do not have the fields properly filled out will not be accepted.
