“A chart showing this result was shown and this was added to an updated version (anslow_01a_0216_smf) of the presentation posted after the close of the meeting. As there are only four high reflection connectors in the double link scenario in kolesar_3bs_01_0514, Pete said he would re-run the spreadsheet with four -35 dB connectors and four -55 dB connectors.”

 

For parallel XCVR like DR4 (http://www.ieee802.org/3/bs/public/14_05/kolesar_3bs_01_0514.pdf, slide 6 and 7), the double link has just 4 MPO, while 4MPO + 4LC is applicable to 2-fiber XCVR (duplex).

So if this is still valid, the spreadsheet should be run with four connectors only for DR4 and eight connectors for FR8/LR8.
