[STDS-802-3-400G] IEEE P802.3bs 1st Sponsor Recirculation Ballot Results

Dear Colleagues,

 

The 1st Sponsor recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bs 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 22nd March 2017. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The May 2017 IEEE P802.3bs Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 66 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bs Task Force reflector.

 

The ballot statistics are:

101 Approve

   7 Disapprove

   5 Abstain

113 Ballots returned

 

84.33% Response Rate (>= 75% required)

  4.42% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)

93.52% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
