All,
The 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bs 200 Gb/s
and 400 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 16th Aug 2017. The ballot
exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The September
2017 IEEE P802.3bs Task Force interim meeting
<http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 46 comments
submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The
availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bs
Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
134 Voters
113 Approve
2 Disapprove
4 Abstain
119 Ballots returned
88.81% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
3.36% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
98.26% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
